Dissonant Bear is a new digital label founded by guitarist and artist Ruben Mattia Santorsa.
It is a radical space for experimentation, a home for bold and intimate projects, and a place for

genuine artistic exchange.

The vision is to create a space where collective work matters more than individual achievement,

and where art itself takes center stage.

Unpolished Clouds

Unpolished Clouds is the label’s very first release, dedicated to the music of Giulia Lorusso and her three works for solo electric guitar. Buying this album means embracing a living sonic journey—an experiment that began years ago and continues to unfold.

The creative friendship between Giulia Lorusso and Ruben Mattia Santorsa began in Darmstadt, giving life to À fleur de Peau in 2018, premiered in New York. From the rare shimmer of Unspoken to the live debut of Drift in Florence (2024), their shared soundscape is constantly evolving.
